...and Felicia Barton is in.
After last night's episode aired on the west coast, FOX released the Top 36 list of semifinalists, which included Felicia Barton's name, and not Joanna Pacitti's. The press release included a note saying it has been determined that Joanna Pacitti is ineligible to continue in the competition.
Hallelujah! Oh, sorry...did I just type that?! Yup, I did. I apologize to the Pacitti fans, but I've always thought she's had many, many, many chances to make it in "the biz" and hasn't been relevant as of yet.
We didn't get to see much of Felicia Barton's auditions, but thank goodness for youtube! A search of her name brings up a very powerful rendition of Alicia Keys "No One."
I think she's gonna do really well...why hadn't we seen her earlier??!?!
