Last Night, I Shipped My Kids Outta the Country!

Not forever, just for an overnight. And only MonkeyButt and CuriousGeorge went with my mom and stepdad to Montreal. She wasn't crazy enough brave enough to take the Twinkeys and SpiderMonkey, too. But I don't think Twinkeys + loud Monster Trucks would = FUN.

So last night we had some friends over for poker night and I was distracted until they all left after midnight. Then I cried. To be honest, I was looking forward to having a chance to actually miss them for once...that sounds harsher than I meant it, but what I mean is I thought getting a little break from tending to so many's needs would be a nice change for me. But now, I.Want.Them.Back.

I know, I know, it'll be good for them to have this experience and get to see their Aunt and Uncle and ride in his truck and do boy things...but I want my babies baaaaaaaaaack.

K, I'm over it. ;o) Besides, KingKong and I have a date tonight and tomorrow, I have a date with their bedroom and some trash bags!

Isn't it funny how that missing feeling lurks up on you and then WHAM! It smacks you right in the face. Just when you were havin' fun!

On the unpacked car issue...I am OCD when it comes to unpacking. BP will tell you in a heartbeat to leave me alone until ALL is done and put away. Apparently, I am kinda scary sometimes. Hmmm...at least it gets done! Don't forget--you car is not unpacked because you have two times the amount of stuff!

Have a great date...we have another one tonight, too!

Oooh la la, dates...

hmph, haven't been on one of those in a while.

When I finally get time alone, I find it hard to know what to do with myself. I get down about it, but it also quickly passes. It's not that frequent after all.

My parents are building a new house and Little Miss keeps saying she is going to stay a full week, I am looking forward to it. On the other hand The Boy says he is moving out and I cry like a baby.

Enjoy your cleaning, I need a few trash bags in Little Miss's room.
